VYPE Kansas Wichita Small School Preseason Girls Soccer Player of the Year: How Voting Works & How to Win

What is the Wichita small school girls soccer award?

This preseason award from VYPE Kansas asks readers to back a small school girls soccer player before the season starts, and the title spells out the Wichita focus. VYPE Kansas, which the ballot labels as South Central KS, is the organizer. Visit Wichita is named as presenter, and the ballot is served by Crowdsignal at poll.fm/11444866.

The name places the award in small school girls soccer in Wichita, Kansas, and the preseason label sets its timing ahead of the regular season. Its vertical is sport, and its mechanic is a public web vote with no jury stage described on the ballot.

Which editions and dates are confirmed for this poll?

The poll is confirmed across five editions, 2021, 2022 and 2023 from earlier ballots, then 2025 and 2026 from the live ballot. The 2026 poll is titled to end on 2/12, and the earlier editions sit in a February to March window. The 2024 season is not shown, so the timeline has a gap in that year.

The preseason window opens in February, so a supporter who waits for March will likely find the ballot already closed. The organizer prints no opening hour, which leaves the February start as the only timing anchor.

A 2027 ballot is expected from the annual pattern, and the window for it is not printed; confirm on the live ballot each cycle.

How does a supporter vote on the preseason ballot?

A supporter opens the Crowdsignal page at poll.fm/11444866, reads the player names shown as poll answers, and marks the one they back. The choice is sent through the poll's own button. The ballot text does not say whether a login or a verification step comes first, so the page is the only guide to those screens.

Because the award is a preseason honor, the nominees are players the organizer lists before the regular season begins. Each supporter makes a single pick from that list, and the ballot does not show how the picks are weighted.

How does this poll sit beside other Kansas awards?

The other Kansas entries in this group are a mix of formats. The ESPN Wichita entry is a weekly athlete award, the Greater Wichita Sports Banquet entry is a year-end honor, and the Kansas City DiRenna entry covers basketball. This VYPE award is a preseason girls soccer honor for small schools, which makes it the only one here that looks ahead to a season.

Readers who want the basketball version of a Kansas honor can look at Arizona Daily Star Capital-Journal Boys Basketball Player of the Year, which is a different organizer and sport.

How can a supporter help a player in the preseason poll?

Supporters tend to help a preseason nominee most by sharing the poll link early, since the window is short and the organizer prints no opening page. Teammates, coaches' families and local followers can all be reached from that single link. The ballot text names no hidden setting that changes how picks count.

A message that names the Wichita small school focus and the preseason timing tells a reader what the link is for. Vague calls to vote give readers no reason to choose this award over the others in the Kansas group.

Other options are listed on the tactics page for online poll reach, and the organizer's terms should be checked before acting on any suggestion there.

Wichita is a single metro market in this award's framing, so a message aimed at small school families in that area reaches the readers the poll is built around. Messages aimed at the wider state dilute that focus.
